FSC Chain of Custody Certification is a global standard that verifies the path of products from forests through the supply chain. It requires that FSC-certified material is identified and tracked during the manufacturing and distribution processes, and that all documents and records relating to FSC-certified product production, purchase, and sales are kept. It also requires that the company meets FSC’s core labour requirements, such as no child or forced labour, no discrimination in employment and occupation, and freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining.
